Broadgate Communications was commissioned to support Watford Community Housing Trust as it prepared to take on the social housing stock from Watford Borough Council following a ballot of tenants in support of the transfer. The Trust was the first community gateway association in London and this was integral to its approach to communications.
In the spirit of the community gateway ethos, Broadgate Communications ran a series of workshops with interested parties to take them through the process of branding, why it is important and how to make informed choices about what visual branding they wanted. This led to a collaborative approach to the generation of a visual identity which was launched as the organisation took on the housing stock.
