Westward Housing Group was to be a new entity, created as a result of an existing organisation – Westcountry Housing and a new stock transfer landlord, Tarka Housing coming together. Having worked with both organisations, Broadgate Communications was asked to create a new corporate identity.
As Westcountry was well established and had a current identity, Broadgate Communications sought to modify its branding and then created a family of brands around it – the parent brand being for Westward with the sub brands of Wescountry and Tarka. These reflected their rural and coastal natures respectively.
