Maidstone Housing Trust owns and manages all of the stock formerly owned by Maidstone Borough Council. Having delivered the core 5 year promises made to tenants, the Trust found its existing structures and internal governance processes in need of amending to meet the new challenges it faced.

Broadgate Communications was employed to frame and deliver a resident consultation process to seek consent to the proposed changes. The process included providing background information materials, running qualitative focus groups and surveying residents with paper, on-line and telephone voting systems. The proposed amendments to the constitution and structures were supported by residents.
